Estos dos callejones cruzados es el reducto de lo que fue el barrio hace más de 50 años. Ahora estas casitas bajas han quedado relegadas en el interior de una gran manzana de bloques altos. Se accede a través de una escalinata de altos peldaños que pone a prueba a sus últimos residentes.
Las casas están siendo demolidas a medida que consiguen deshabitarlas y sus solares son cercados para evitar su reocupación .
Los vecinos no pusieron problemas cuando nos sentamos a dibujar su casas, nos dijeron: 'A ver si le daís publicidad para que no las tiren'.

These two intersecting streets is the stronghold of the district which was over 50 years ago. Now, these low houses have been relegated within a high-rise block. It is accessed via a staircase of high steps that don't help to their last residents.
The houses are being demolished as they get empty and their plots are fenced to prevent reoccupation.
The neighbors didn't offend when we sat down to draw their houses, they said: 'Give publicity to avoid their demolition'.
